With July Fourth just around the corner, we’re looking to starry, spangled jewelry to add patriotism to your ensemble. From delicate charms to antique brooches and even a historical piece, here are a few of the most spirited jewels for celebrating Independence Day.

Roxanne First necklace
Star necklace in 18k rose gold with 0.3 ct. t.w. diamonds, $936; Roxanne First

London-based Roxanne First’s charming, adjustable-length necklace featuring dainty stars is a five-star design in more ways than one.

Cartier Home Front Spinel Brooch
Cartier Home Front brooch (circa 1940s) in 14k gold with a 6.35 ct. crimson spinel and diamonds, $98,500; M.S. Rau Antiques

Cartier’s Home Front brooch not only looks the part but has historical significance, too. Created in association with the Friends of Soldiers & Sailors organization, this spinel brooch was made during the 1940s to show support for the United States’ efforts in World War II.

Colette ring
Shooting Stars double ring (also pictured at top) in 18k white gold with 0.82 ct. t.w. brilliant-cut diamonds, $5,720; Colette

Incorporating Colette’s signature stars along with swirling lines resembling stripes, this two-finger ring brings to mind an American flag waving in the wind.

Brinker and Eliza earrings
Este earrings in 24k antique gold-plated stainless steel with sundial shells, $218; Brinker + Eliza

Another design with both stars and stripes, Brinker + Eliza’s Este earrings use natural sundial shells for a unique interpretation that feels just right for summer.

FD Gallery brooches
Antique star brooches (circa 1900) in yellow gold with approximately 11 cts. t.w. old mine cut diamonds, $22,000; FD Gallery

A simple and sophisticated nod to the holiday, FD Gallery’s set of three turn-of-the-century star brooches has the added benefit of styling flexibility.
